Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) members living in Tetuan can soon avail of a special hospital confinement program of West Metro Medical Center called West Metro Cares.

On the day of Tetuan Fiesta, July 31, West Metro will assess the first batch of Tetuan 4Ps to take their medical history and enroll them in the West Metro Cares program.

West Metro Cares program is based on PhilHealth rates. West Metro offers this program to the 4Ps beneficiaries of Tetuan.

For Tetuan, West Metro Cares is available to adults, 18-59 years old, with internal medical diagnosis. All qualified beneficiaries will be admitted as ward patients. The objective of this program is to provide quality health care to members of vulnerable groups in Tetuan.

To avail of the program, the patient must secure a referral issued by the Tetuan Barangay Captain to be presented to West Metro Medical Center Admitting Office together with his or her ID and PhilHealth membership card.

Tetuan Barangay Captain John Dalipe said he was very excited about the program especially because this is the first time that a private hospital extended a big help to the most vulnerable sector in the barangay. Barangay Tetuan is one of the barangays with the biggest population in the city.

Ramon H. Diaz, President & CEO of West Metro said that this program is offered to Tetuan 4Ps initially because West Metro Medical Center is located in Barangay Tetuan: “We are called on to help. But when we help, it is best if we don’t look too far. We should prioritize those who are near to us.”
