A total of 176 housing units or 22 buildings under the Z3R Resettlement Project – Aplaya Compound in Barangay Rio Hondo are slated to be formally awarded to families who have been staying in transitory sites and waiting for their return to their places of residence following the September 2013 siege.

The chief executive will be accompanied by City Social Welfare and Development Officer and concurrent officer-in-charge of the housing division Ma. Socorro Rojas, officials from the National Housing Authority (NHA) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and local barangay leaders.

The Aplaya Compound project forms part of the Z3R plan, and was undertaken by the Vicente T. Lao Construction with a project cost of P60.38 million.
