KAKAMPI MO ANG BATAS

LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “… save others by snatching them from the fire…” (Jude 23, the Holy Bible).

911 PRANK CALLS PROVE HARDHEADEDNESS AMONG PINOYS: Pardon me for saying this but, really, if the Philippine National Police (PNP) has the capability to trace where the prank callers at the emergency number 911 are coming from, it should right away go to them and arrest them, just like the outright killing being done now with many people even if they are merely suspected of being drug addicts or drug pushers in the country.

I am sure that if people who are making prank calls are arrested or even salvaged  in extreme cases, there will no longer be any pranksters, or, perhaps, there will be a great reduction in their number. Indeed, the only way to discipline Filipinos, and make them do the right thing or obey the law, is show that disobedience can lead to death.

That’s how hardheaded many of our countrymen have become, really. Unless there is a threat to their lives, or to the lives of their loved ones, they will persist in violating laws, and rules and regulations. The question here is, how did this nation become a nation of hardheaded crackpots? By long-standing disobedience, that’s how.

PARENTAL AUTHORITY IN FAVOR OF RELATIVES: The Family Code of the Philippines clearly abhors a situation where no one shall exercise parental authority over minor children. In its Art. 216, the Code states that “In default of parents or a judicially appointed guardian, the following person shall exercise substitute parental authority over the child in the order indicated: (1) The surviving grandparent, as provided in Art. 214.

“(2) The oldest brother or sister, over twenty-one years of age, unless unfit or disqualified; and (3) The child’s actual custodian, over twenty-one years of age, unless unfit or disqualified. Whenever the appointment or a judicial guardian over the property of the child becomes necessary, the same order of preference shall be observed.”

In case of foundlings, abandoned neglected or abused children and other children similarly situated, parental authority shall be entrusted in summary judicial proceedings to heads of children’s homes, orphanages and similar institutions duly accredited by the proper government agency. There will be more of this next issue, God willing!

BAPTISM OF WORK FOR AND KNK MEMBERS: The underlying teaching that is drilled into the minds and hearts of the members of the Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo (AND KNK, or the Children of God Blood Kin of the Christ) Church, even before they are baptized as members, is the fact that their acceptance into the Church is premised on the work that they are called to do for God, especially during the end time.

Thus, the baptism of all AND KNK members is capped by a recitation by the Beloved Leader Disciple of what Matthew 29:19-20, 2 Timothy 4:1-2, Jude 23, and Proverbs 24:11-12 require—which is that, each and every believer is mandated or ordered to go and make all the nations disciples of Jesus, and proclaim that belief and acceptance of Him as God and Savior are necessary ingredients of salvation.

This is the reason why every member of the Church is expected to rise and get out, and preach, and make people believe in Jesus as God and Savior. The teaching is that, a believer who renounces his or her previous church or religious affiliation is not just transfering to the AND KNK, but is in fact being called to discharge his part of God’s work in the end time, which is sharing salvation with the belief on Jesus as God and Savior.
