The Department of Education (DepEd) has announced that their enrollment for Senior High School is already beyond target.

Pedro Melchor Natividad, Zamboanga City schools division superintendent, said that the office is only expecting 3,500 enrollees for public Senior High School , but now they have more than 4,000 enrollees. For private schools, they were expecting around 5,000 to 6,000 enrollees, but now they have 7,000.

The total senior high school enrollees for public and private senior high schools now breached 11,000 or over 1,000  the office was expecting for both public and private schools.
