City Health Officer Rodelin Agbulos has lauded the city’s top officials in their response during health emergencies especially during the recent vehicular accident last August 9 in Upper Cabatangan where a 26-year-old woman died, while 27 others were injured.

“We are thankful to Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco Salazar and Congressman Celso Lobregat for the immediate response in assisting the victims,” Agbulos said.

Lobregat assisted the victims in admitting them at the Zamboanga City Medical Center while the mayor gave medical assistance and also assisted those admitted in the private hospitals.

In mass casualties, usually the patients need medicines and assistance when it comes to the payment of hospital bills.

“The combined efforts of the two politicians alleviated the plight of the patients and relatives easy,” The city health officer said.

He also added that this will also help the patients recover from the tragic incident.
