4 LTO-9 office chiefs attend CSC seminar PDF Print E-mail

The  chiefs of four Land Transportation Office-9 offices attended a three-day seminar on performance rating conducted by the Civil Service Commission- 9 on August 10 -12 at the Grand Astoria Hotel.

The LTO-9 four offices are Driver License Renewal Center in Yubengco in barangay Putik  under Hafsa A. Taha- Aspi,  Ipil District Office in Zamboanga Sibugay under  Assistant Regional Director concurrent  District Officer  Moh. Yul Lamping, Johan Macaumbos, District Officer of Pagadian City and Molave Extension Officer under Abdurauf F. Mutin.

Previously LTO-9-DLRC Yubengo Mall Putik, Pagadian City District Office and Ipil District Office received the “Seal of Excellence” awards from the Civil Service Commission  last year. The evaluation of performance was conducted by Civil Service Commission-10 and CSC- 9.

Other participants to the seminar are Zamboanga Regional Hospital, Dept. of Health 9, Philippine Coconut Authority,  Government System Insurance Service 9 and Western Mindanao State University.

The participants were lectured and updated on  the Citizens Charter law, Anti – Red Tape Law 2016, Civil Service Commission  pledge of office and service to people oath and the establishment or printing of the information and procedures of the delivery of efficient service to people and the flow of documents procedures charts including the Anti –Red Tape Law, Citizens Charter , Wearing of agency  identification card,  Contact Center ng Bayan ,  establishment of Public Assistance and Complaint Desk and 100 percent smoke free environment policy.

Meanwhile, following the new directives coming from ASSEC. Edgar Galvante and bared by Director Aminola P. Abaton , Taha-Aspi said that LTO is now promoting its new vision as a frontline  government agency showcasing a  fast and efficient public service for a progressive transportation sector with the mission “Rationalize  the land transportation service and facilities into effectively implement the various transportation Laws, Rules and Regulations”. — Allen Abastillas
