The revenue collection of Land Transportation Office-9  from first quarter to second quarter reaches P134 million with a target revenue collection for the whole year of P260 million.

LTO-9 Director Aminola P. Abaton said that last year, revenue actual collection reached P262 million with a target of P 235 million, or an increase of P27 million.
Abaton explained that the LTO central office directs all regional offices to increase their target collection for the incoming year if the revenue collection for the outgoing year has increased.

Meanwhile, Abaton also said that the LTO central office has issued a memorandum for the last implementation  of the distribution of the Pantawid Pasada Card fuel subsidy to public utility jeepneys in the region.

Beneficiairies are given until August for the last submission of pertinent documents for them to get the fuel subsidy card.
Abaton said his personnel from the different district offices in the region have already visited all the terminals and have informed operators in the region to get their PPC fuel subsidy cards.

The region has record of more than 4,000 PUJs, but the Department of Energy has allocated only 1,810 cards.
