Two soldiers were stabbed and wounded at a karaoke bar along Gov. Camins Avenue at dawn Monday.

Chief Insp. Helen Galvez, City Police Office Information Officer, identified the victims as PFC Reister Lumadaw Sagaw, 26, a native of Abra, and attached with the army’s 45th IB and PFC Jordan Lingbawan Iwangga, 28, a native of Cordillera Kalinga, and belonging to the army’s 21st IB. Both sustained stab wounds in their head and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Initial investigation showed that Sagaw, Iwangga and two other companions were in a karaoke bar when an unidentified man stabbed them.

The two other soldiers escaped unhurt.

Witnesses said that two shotsd were heard during the melee. – Dan Toribio
