Beng distributes Islamic reading materials PDF Print E-mail

House Deputy Speaker for Mindanao Beng Climaco the other day started distributing Islamic reading materials for beginners among students of Sta. Barbara Central Elementary School and pamphlets of a chapter in the Qur’an in the Madrasah located in the mosque in Sta. Barbara.

The reading materials were sent by the Badawood Oblation for Allah, an organized based in Manila, as part of the group’s advocacy in reaching out to many of our Muslim brethren in the country.

Other schools expected to receive the reading materials soon are the Baliwasan Central School, John Spring Senior  High School, Mariki Elementary School, Rio Hondo Elementary School, Recodo Elem. School, San Jose Gusu Elem. School, Sinunuc Elem. School and Southcom Elem. School in District I and

Arena Blanco East Elem. School, Arena Blanco West Elem. School, Dita Elem. School, Don GEMS Elem. School, Mampang Elem. School, Mulu-Muluan Elem. School, Talon-Talon Elem. School and Taluksangay Elem. School and Sangali Elementary School in District II.

Other beneficiaries include the Salamat Village Mosque and Madrasah, Silsillah Madrasa care of Fr. Sebastiano D’ Ambra and Jabo-jabo care of Jeff Kimpa.
Cong. Climaco’s efforts are in line with her advocacy to assist and support the needs of the constituents regardless of their faith or religion as well as in line with the observance of Ramadan. — Marvin Segura
