A jeepney driver and a female passenger were wounded in a gun attack in Pasonanca Saturday night.

Chief Insp. Helen Galvez, City Police Office’s Information Officer, identified the victims as Armando Pascual y Baga, Jr., 31, a jeepney driver and Maricris Bao y Cabanal, 25, of Shanty Town.

Pascual sustained a bullet wound on the right leg, while Bao was hit on the left shoulder. They were taken to the hospital.

Initial investigation showed that Pascual was driving a PUJ with Bao sitting at the front seat heading the city proper when upon reaching the waiting shed in Pasonanca, two men riding tandem on a motorcycle that was running on opposite direction appeared and the backrider opened fire on them.

The gunmen sped towards Pasonanca after shooting their target.
