The decaying Zamboanga Puericulture Center will be undergo  rehabilitation this month to make it clean and attractive.

“Este porcausa na request del maga occupants y para man develop el lugar cay na centro del ciudad y at present eye sore este,” Puericulture President, Dr. Rodelin Agbulos said in an interview.

Stall occupants have written Agbulos a letter suggesting a renovation and reconstruction of a new building which the board responded positively.

According to Agbulos, P10 million will be spent for a three storey building project. He said that they saw the need to rehabilitate and develop the area due to defects like leaking roofs and sanitation issue.

The part of Puericulture Center to be rehabilitated is food court where 37 stalls serve different food delicacies.

He said that the rehabilitation will take three to four months and the holders of the 37 stalls were temporarily relocated along San Jose Road.
