Man hacked by wife’s alleged lover PDF Print E-mail

A 48-year-old man was hacked and seriously wounded by the alleged lover of his wife in Sitio Nanca, Lamisahan last Wednesday morning.
The victim was identified as Noel Bernardo, married. He sustained multiple hack wounds in the body and was taken to the hospital.

A police report disclosed that Bernardo caught his wife and Agustin in an uncompromising situation last Tuesday night.
Bernardo confronted Agustin that resulted in a fistfight.

Bernardo punched Agustin, causing bruises in the latter’s body.
The following day around 10 a.m., Agustin armed himself with a “pira” and went to the house of Bernardo and hacked him several times.

Agustin was nabbed by barangay officials of Lamisahan and turned him over to the Sangali Police Station.
Sangali policemen led by Chief Insp. Elmer Acuña have prepared appropriate charges against Agustin. — Dan Toribio Jr.
