Man shot dead in Camino Nuevo PDF Print E-mail

A 41-year-old man was shot to death by a gunman at Boholano Drive, Camino Nuevo last Wednesday night.

Jerry Alatan y Jumanoc, 41, single, of Culianan, sustained multiple bullet wounds in the body and died on the spot.

Initial investigation showed that Alatan had visited his sister Shirley Benjola in her residence at Boholano Drive, and went to watch a billiard game where he was shot.

Witnesses told the police that while Alatan was in a billiard hall, the gunman appeared and shot him at close range.

The assailant then escaped aboard a motorcycle that sped towards Gov. Alvarez Street.

Recovered at the crimes scene were shells of .45 caliber pistol.

Police were looking into several angles including illegal drugs.

It was gathered that had engaged in altercation with some residents whenever he visits his sister. – Dan Toribio
