Zambo allocates P83.2M to build 19 barangay halls PDF Print E-mail

The local government is closely monitoring the construction of new barangays halls to ensure it is done in accordance to plans and specifications.

Mayor Ma. Isabelle Climaco-Salazar said the city government has allocated PHP83.2 million to construct 19 new barangay halls this year.

Salazar said five of the 19 barangay halls have already been completed while the other 14 are either near completion or still under construction.

Salazar said that records from the City Engineer’s Office showed that the barangay halls completed are as follows: Panubigan, PHP2.9 million; Taguiti, PHP3 million; Landang Gua, PHP3 million; Tumitus, PHP3 million; and, Pamucutan , PHP4.8 million.

The almost completed barangay halls are the following: Quiniput, PHP4.5 million; Lapakan, PHP4.8 million; Campo Islam, PHP4 million; Capisan, PHP1.5 million; Divisoria, PHP2 million; Cawit, PHP4.9 million; Curuan, PHP6 million; Pasilmanta, PHP3.6 million; and, Manalipa, PHP3.6 million.

Ongoing construction are the barangay halls in Zone III, PHP2 million; Zone II, PHP5.9 million; and, Limaong, PHP3.5 million.

Salazar said the construction of barangay halls in Limpapa worth PHP5 million and San Jose Gusu amounting to PHP6.6 million are subject to rebidding.
