Two persons were stabbed and killed in separate incidents in Ayala and Mercedes Wednesday night.

Rolly Minque, married of RT Lim, Zamboanga SIbugay was stabbed and killed around 8:30 p.m. by Lerry Galve y Casantosan, 46, aboard an anchored fishing boat named FB Columbia at Zone 1, Ayala. Minque sustained stab wounds in the chest and arm and was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

A police report disclosed that the two had figured in a heated argument during which Minque punched Galve who in returnd stab the former.

The suspect was arrested during a police operation and was detained at the Ayala Police Station.

Meanwhile at 6 p.m. also Wednesday, Dennis Alviar Perez, single, was stabbed by Charlie Cuevas Toribio, 32, in Socorro Street, Mercedes.

Perez sustained more than two dozens of stab wounds in the body and died on the spot.

A police report disclosed that Toribio met Perez along Socorro Street at past 6 p.m. and without any ado, attacked the latter.

Although wounded, Perez managed to run to the other side of the road where he fell on the ground.

Toribio chased and finished him with more knife blows.

Toribio returned home after the incident where he was arrested by policemen.

Toribio was detained at the Culianan Police Station.

In an interview, Toribio told newsmen that he was hunting Perez after he suspected him of having an affair with his estranged wife. – Dan Toribio
