Zambo city gov’t sympathizes with Davao on blast PDF Print E-mail

The city government headed by Mayor Beng Climaco on Friday expressed sympathy and condolence to the families and relatives of the Davao blast victims.

Climaco said that the city is offering whatever help the local government can provide to the city of Davao.

“We would like to express our sympathy and condolence to the victims of the Davao blast. To Mayor Sarah D. Carpio, and President Rodrigo Duterte… Zamboanga City expresses our deepest condolence,” Climaco said.

The blast on Friday night last week at the night market along Roxas Avenue, Davao City killed 14 people and wounded 71 others.

The incident also led to the declaration of state of lawlessness by President Duterte in the entire country.

Meanwhile, PNP chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa on Tuesday said that the police are still investigating bomb attack with operatives searching for four suspects whose suspicious presence in the night market minutes before the bomb went off was revealed by witnesses to investigators.— R.G.
