Woman shot dead in Recodo PDF Print E-mail

A female witness in a right-of-way dispute was shot and killed inside her rented home in  Recodo last Sunday.

Ayala Police Station Commander Chief Inspector Karib Muharram identified the fatality as Morada Mahamod y Misah, 29  years old, married and residing in Purok 7, Recodo.

Initial investigation showed that Mahamod was preparing dinner for her child inside the duplex-type boarding house that she was renting when a gunman appeared and shot her three times.

The victim sustained a  bullet wound in the chest and died on the spot.

Police recovered two deformed slugs and three spent shells of a .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.

Muharram told DZT that they are looking into personal grudge as a possible motive of the crime.

The victim, Mahamod, stood as one of the witnesses in a right-of-way dispute in the area. (Dan Toribio)
