City Legal Officer (ret) Judge Jesus Carbon has warned government personnel about possible sanctions should they be discovered involved in the foiled survey of government properties.

The City Legal Office is currently trying to retrieve original copies of payment vouchers at the City Auditor’s Office.

This is in relation to the survey of government transitory housing sites by a survey firm that failed to materialize.

The documents will serve as substantial evidence against signatories of the payment made by the city government despite an incomplete survey done by the firm.

“The documents supporting the payment is already with the City Auditor.  For as long as we can retrieve the original copies in the 2008 payment vouchers, heads will roll in the city government,” Carbon said.

Carbon said that he has already summoned the Housing Division Officer in Charge and City Social Welfare and Development Officer Socorro Rojas, Mr. Cantina and two Geodetic Engineers to submit their affidavits on the issue.

Former Housing Division Chief Rodrigo Pagotaisidro was also invited by Atty Carbon to give his statement about the controversy.

Pagotaisidro served as Housing Division Chief when the incident occurred.
