Eleanor Gonzales, the call center agent killed during a hold-up robbery incident in Manila, is scheduled to be buried today at a cemetery in Zamboanga.

This, as grieving family members and friends continue to seek justice for the slain call center agent.

Mrs, Maria Erlinda Gonzales, mother of the victim, told Daily Zamboanga Times that the remains of her daughter will be interred at the Cabaluay cemetery.

Prior to that, Eleanor’s remains will be brought to the Catumbal Church.

Hundreds of sympathizers are expected to join the funeral ceremony for the slain Zamboangueña victim today.

Recall that Eleanor was on her way to work when she was shot in a hold-up robbery incident.

The victim had just alighted from a passenger bus at the Guadalupe bus stop when the suspects shot her on the forehead before running away with her handbag.

Zamboanga officials provided assistance for the burial and other expenses of the victim and her family.  (Dan Toribio)
