The Lamitan city government is offering a P50,000 reward to any person who can provide information that will lead to the arrest of lawless elements.

Lamitan Vice-Mayor Roderick Furigay said that the reward was approved by the City Council through a resolution passed during their regular session last week.

Furigay explained that the reward will be given on a per barangay basis.

Lamitan’s six barangays have organized their respective Barangay Police Action Teams (BPAT) to respond to the reward offer.

These are the barangays of Maganda, Malakas, Matibay, Matatag, Maligaya and Malinis.

Other barangays are set to follow suit.

The resolution was passed in an effort to help law enforcers in arresting lawless elements in the city.  (Allen Abastillas)
