Two balot vendors were robbed of their meager earnings while they were selling balot in front of a pharmacy in San Roque at dawn yesterday.

A Police Regional Office-9 report identified the victims as Gilbert Gabutero y Madalo, 20 years old and James Halud y Delumpines, 18 years old.

Both are residents of Pasay, San Roque.

According to the report, the vendors were selling balot in front of the pharmacy when unidentified suspects riding a black Honda Wave motorcycle with temporary plate number 09003 declared a hold-up.

The suspects reportedly stopped in front of the victims, pointed a knife at them and asked for their money and other valuables.

The suspects took the victim’s money amounting to P2,500 and a Samsung phone worth P5,000.

The suspects fled towards the Sta Maria area.

The Sta Maria Police is conducting further investigation.
