The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) regional office has opened an outlet inside a local mall that would accept requests for processing of documents from clients.

The outlet will be open from February 20 to 24 starting at 8am.  The outlet will be open until 5pm.

The Batch Request Query System (BREQS) accepts requests and applications from the public to process security-papered birth, marriage, death and Certificate of No Marriage or CENOMAR.

The papers will still be processed at the PSA office in barangay Baliwasan and ready for distribution the following day at the mall.

Civil Registry System Outlet Supervisor Roxan Kastine M. Lumapas said that the outlet has already processed a total of 65 documents.

Processing of certified copy of birth, marriage, and death certificates will cost P140 per copy.  CENOMAR copies will cost P195 per copy.

Aside from the BREQS, the PSA will also display recent results of census and survey at their outlet.

“This is to create awareness and be able to cater to other clients near the area,” said Lumapas.

The activity is in line with this year’s celebration of the 27th Civil Registration Month with the theme “Pilipinong Rehistrado, Matatag na Kinabukasan ay Sigurado.”

Civil Registration Month is celebrated by virtue of Proclamation 682 declaring the month of February as Civil Registration Month.  (RGAAGo)
