Drug feud leads to death PDF Print E-mail

A feud about an alleged drug dealing led one person to kill another during an altercation in Pamucutan last Thursday.

A Police Regional Office-9 report identified the victim as Julious Julian Akil, 25 years old, and a resident of Zone 4 River Side, Pamucutan.

A witness identified the suspect as Rajid Jamlani Saddaran, 31 years old, married and a resident of Pamucutan.

According to the report, the two figured in a heated argument over the victim’s failure to pay his debt to the suspect.

The suspect left the victim and after a few minutes, shot the latter with a firearm that he brought to the area.

Akil sustained two gunshot wounds that resulted to his instantaneous death.

Police recovered three fired cartridges of a caliber .45 pistol.

The suspect fled towards an unknown direction.

Police believe that the motive is drug-related.

The suspect is a surrenderer of Oplan Tokhang of the Phiippine National Police. (Dan Toribio)
