A cigarette vendor was arrested after offering shabu to a policeman in Sta Cruz last Saturday.

The suspect was identified as Shermin Balahim y Radiyah, 29 years old, and a resident of Sta Cruz.

The incident happened while a police officer who was driving a public utility jeepney as a part time job bought cigarettes from a vendor in the area.

PO1 Anthony Arcillas was buying cigarettes from the suspect in his mini store when the former also asked if he was selling shabu.

Balahim then offered the policeman two sachets of shabu hidden inside motorcycle gloves.
