Six round trip flights from Manila to Zamboanga will be affected by a scheduled repair of radar facilities in Luzon.

Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines Area Manager Mohamad Rascal identified the flights as round trip flights by  air carrier Cebu Pacific for nearly a week.

The cancelled flights are the following:  Flights 5J853 and 854 on March 9; 5J855 and 856 on March 6,8 and 10; 5J857 and 858 on March 6; 5J859 and 5J860 on March 10.

All the flights are round trips from Manila to Zamboanga and back to Manila.

Rascal attributed the cancellation of flights to the shutdown of the Tagaytay radar due to scheduled maintenance activities from 6am of March 6 to March 11.

It is not yet known if there will be more flights affected by the scheduled repair. (Liza Jocson)
