An employee of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was killed after he was stabbed eight times in Barangay Lubigan last Saturday morning.
The fatality was identified as Andung Juaidi Palahuddin, 29, single.

A police report disclosed that Palahuddin’s body was discovered around 9:30 a.m. at Sitio Nangka, Lubigan.

Initial investigation conducted by the Curuan police station disclosed that Palahuddin was attacked with knife at a secluded area where his body was found.
Apparently, Palahuddin was passing the secluded road in Sitio Nangka when the assailant blocked his path and stabbed him eight times.

The body was brought to the Cristino Paragas Memorial Hospital for post mortem examination and was later was claimed by his relatives.
City Police Director Sr. Supt. Edwin De Ocampo said he has isntructed his men in Curuan to speed up the investigation of the case. — Dan Toribio Jr.
