PDEA arrests canning factory worker PDF Print E-mail

A canning factory employee was arrested after company bosses themselves reported his drug trading activities to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA.)

The worker was identified as John Eric Baldicantos Estemonio, 25 years old, married and a resident of Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.

The report said that no less than the management of the canning factory where Estemonio was working reported that the worker has a sachet of prohibited drugs in his possession.

Acting on the report, PDEA agents swooped down on the company in Cawit and conducted an operation that led to the arrest of Estemonio.

PDEA agents recovered a sachet of suspected shabu which was sealed inside a cigarette pack.

The seized sachet yielded positive of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride and weighed .0488 grams.

Meanwhile, PDEA agents also arrested another drug suspect during a buy-bust operation in Sta Catalina last February 25.

The suspect was identified as Eddie Hadjimuddin Muharram, 44 years old and a resident of Sta Catalina.

PDEA agents recovered two sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less .5 grams  with a market balue of P1,700; one piece brown folded paper and P200 marked money. (Dan Toribio)
