One of the two alleged hold-uppers who hacked and robbed a female vendor in Sinunuc Boulevard, the other day, was arrested in a follow-up operation, Thursday night.

Sinunuc Police Station Commander, Chief Insp. Hingming Chang Ladjaali identified the arrested suspect as Radzmer Mauladin y Alawi, single of Alas-as Drive, Sununuc.

Ladjaali said, the suspect was arrested after his name appeared during relentless investigation, and that he was also positively identified by no less than the victim, Gladys Estrada, who is still under medication.

The suspect was detained at the police station while a follow-up operation is still ongoing for the possible arrest of his cohort.

Recall, Estrada was waiting for a ride at around 4:00 a.m. when two men approached and suddenly hacked her.

When she fell unconscious, she was dragged to the shore and her wallet, containing cash, was taken by the suspects before escaping. (Dan Toribio)
