The Land Transportation Franchising & Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has not been invited to any meeting in connection to the new traffic scheme that the City Government is planning to implement.

LTFRB Legal Officer, Atty. Jayson Tan revealed in an interview with Emedia that they did not receive any invitation to attend meetings on the new traffic scheme scheduled to be implemented in Zamboanga City on March 15.

Tan said they should have been consulted on the matter before implementation, especially since the routes of the different public utility vehicles in the city is going to be affected by the rerouting.

 

Meanwihle, Police Station 11 Deputy Commander, P/CInsp. Albert Sta. Terresa, confirmed that the LTFRB did not attend any meeting initiated by the local government on the new traffic rerouting scheme. (Alinazar Hail Lahid/Emedia News)
