The body of a suspected victim of summary execution was fished out of waters off Talisayan last Saturday.

A police report disclosed that an employee of a fishing company phoned up the Ayala Police Station and reported the discovery of a body floating in sea water.

The body was immediately fished out and brought to Sitio Dumagsa in Ayala for ocular inspection.

The victim was around 45 to 50 years old, 5’2 in height, wearing pajama bottoms and hogtied.

The victim was not immediately identified.

Police are suspecting that he was picked up elsewhere and killed and his body dumped into the sea.

The cadaver was then brought to a local funeral parlour.

The Ayala police are continuing investigation for the possible identification of the suspect.  (Dan Toribio)
