Robbers risked life and limb to enter into a pawnshop in Guiwan but failed to get anything, according to a police report.

A police report disclosed that at around 2:30am, Arianne Villacorte Tubio, Branch Manager of Cebuana Lhuiller in Guiwan, received an alarm from the said establishment indicating that intruders were able to enter the office.

Tubio immediately reported the incident to Police Station 5, prompting police personnel to proceed to the area.

During the ocular inspection, police found out that intruders gained entry by destroying the building’s roof and ceiling.

Police said that the suspects also shut down the main power switch then opened all the drawers.

Despite having done so, Tubio said that not a single item was missing from the office.

Police lifted some finger prints from the establishment to be used in their investigation.  (Dan Toribio)
