Two drug personalities nabbed for selling shabu PDF Print E-mail

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested two drug suspects, one of who claims to be an intelligence operative, during a buy-bust operation conducted in barangay Tetuan last Wednesday.

PDEA Regional Director Lyndon P. Aspacio, CESE, identified the suspects as Auramonic Tiamwat Bayabos, 38, married and a resident of Don Enriquez St Tetuan and Ahmad Naser Tiamwat Hawari, 32, single and a resident of Governor Camins.

PDEA agents were able to confiscate six pieces of heat-sealed transparent sachets containing suspected shabu worth P50,000; a .45 cal pistol with two pieces of cal.45 magazines and 15 pieces of cal .45 live ammunition, cash and several drug paraphernalia.

Also confiscated were a Mission Order Card of MIG9 bearing the name of CA Ahmad Naser Tiamwat Hawari and 2 P500 bills utilized as buy-bust money.

Cases for violations of Section 5 (Selling of Illegal Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Illegal Drugs), Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia), and Section 15 (Use of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165 otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and RA 10591 are being readied for filing in court against the suspects.
