Dipolog nightspot held up PDF Print E-mail

A nightspot was held up and robbed by six armed men in Dipolog City at dawn yesterday.

A police report said that the six armed men went to Chip’N by the Sea at Baybay, Galas, Dipolog City around 2:35 a.m. and two of them disarmed the security guard identified as Richard Romano, while the four wearing bonnets and jackets proceeded to the cashier and at gunpoint seized the establishment’s night income amounting to P3,700 as well as the cellphones of Arlyn Alido y Salaveria (cashier) and Elizabeth Candoy and Jemalyn Oliveros (trainee cashiers).

Police said the holduppers fled to unknown direction aboard two motorcycles, black Honda XRM and red Kawasaki Aura.

The security guard’s .38 cal. revolver was also taken by the holduppers.  

Dipolog City Police Director Supt. Reynaldo Maclang has dispatched intelligence operatives to trackdown the holduppers.
