Two men were arrested by policemen in two separate anti-drug operations along Buenavista St. and San Jose Road last Thursday morning.
Arrested were Justine Berdin, 25, single, of Camino Nuevo and Yasser Amil, 24, married of Cawit.

Berdin was arrested in a hotel along Buenavista around 9:20 a.m. Confiscated from his possession were two medium packs containing suspected shabu, a .45 caliber pistol loaded with four bullets, P500 marked bills, one improvised weighing scale, four improvised straw pickers, one disposable lighter, 17 empty sachets ready to repack and several drug paraphernalia.

Police also recovered a black bag from his possession containing P2,000.
Amil was arrested along San Jose Road at 11:30 a.m. of the same date.

Confiscated from his possession was a large size plastic bag containing suspected shabu and P500 marked bill.
A police report disclosed that the suspects’ names have been linked to some drug activities in the city.

Police had conducted surveillances and found out that the two were engaged in the selling of shabu prompting the lawmen organize buy-bust operations against them. — Dan Toribio Jr.
