Around P2-million in property went up in smoke in just a half hour during a conflagration at a motorcycle shop along Governor Camins yesterday.

Reports from fire and police investigators said that the fire took place at the Trans Cycle Motors along Governor Camins Avenue at around 4am.

Initial investigation showed that the fire was able to damage 27 branded motorcycles, and 29 repossessed motorcycles.  A total of six units were totally damaged.

The fire started at around 3:54am and was placed under control at around 4:30am.

Police are suspecting that a robbery occurred prior to the fire.

This after investigators noticed forcible entry from the back portion of the establishment.  (Dan Toribio)
