PDEA arrests three drug suspects PDF Print E-mail

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-9 (PDEA-9) has arrested three drug pushers during an anti-illegal drug operation in Talon Talon last Friday.

PDEA Regional Director Lyndon Aspacio, CESE identified the suspects as Edmar Milani y Liang, 30, married, Armalyn Sarail y Requina, 30, single and Mhay Barahim y Jajie, 26, single.  All are residents of Talon Talon.

PDEA agents confiscated from their possession four sachets of suspected shabu worth P800, a piece of folded aluminum foil and P200 marked money.

The suspects were detained at the PDEA Headquarters while the seized items were turned over to their crime laboratory for examination.

The suspects will be charged for violation of Sections 5, 11 and 12 of Republic Act 9165, the 2002 Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

Meanwhile in another development, PDEA9 with the Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Police Station and Aurora Municipal Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation in Purok Angela, barangay San Jose Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur that led to the arrest of Bonivic Ian Orlanes alias Jong-Jong.

Lawmen confiscated from his possession two sachets of suspected shabu worth P1,000 and P500 marked money.

The suspect will be charged for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 in Court. (Dan Toribio)
