Police operatives have intercepted a truck loaded with drums of gasoline during mobile patrol along Baliwasan Tabuk yesterday.

Central Police Station Commander Supt Ariel  Huesca disclosed that his personnel were conducting mobile patrol along Baliwasan when they spotted a Mitsubishi Canter Truck apparently loaded with drums of gasoline.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Jester Bernido y Perez of Tugbungan while the vehicle was registered under the name of Alvin Clark Luy.

Huesca said that the truck along with the gasoline were brought to the police station for proper disposition.

It was later turned over to the Bureau of Fire Protection.

Under the law, flammable materials such as crude oil requires proper documents for transport.  (Dan Toribio)
