DOLE-9 to offer 40,000 jobs on Labor Day Print

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-9) is expected to offer 40,000 jobs this coming Labor Day.

Ofelia B. Domingo, DOLE-9 Regional Director, said that a total of 40,055 local and overseas jobs will be available during its 2017 Labor Day Jobs Fair on Monday.

Of the 40,055 jobs, majority or 37,247 are overseas jobs.  The rest are positions for local employment.

There are 20 private and government offices and 21 recruitment agencies that are expected to participate in the job fair.

Jobs available for employment includes nurse, cashier, seamer mechanic, teachers, mechanical and electrical engineers, fitness instructor, office clerks, service crew, driver, cook, sale representatives, pharmacist, carpenter, computer technicians, electricians, plumber, aircon technician, house helpers, encoder, truck drivers, chemist, bodybuilder, accounting and HR staff, messenger, graphic designers, biomedical technician, respiratory therapist, policemen, supervisors, and others.

Domingo advised job hunters to prepare their documents before visiting the job fair.

There will be prior registration for applicants. Those who failed to register however will still be accepted.  (RGAAGo)
