PCTC to hold Human Trafficking seminar PDF Print E-mail

The Philippine Center on Transnational Crime (PCTC) Western MIndanao Field Office will conduct a seminar on human trafficking in Butuan city on Monday, May 8.

Butuan is considered by PCTC as a target area for human trafficking activities.

The seminar is an advocacy building workshop to orient participants on the crime of human trafficking.

Participants to the workshop include 20 police personnel from the different police stations, 20 Criminology students  and 20 staff members of the Prosecutors Office.

The advocacy building workshop is sponsored by the United States Department Criminal Division, United States Embassy, Office of the Prosecutorial Development Assistant, the Inter-agency Council Against Trafficking in Persons, and Criminal Justice Professional Inc.  (Allen Abastillas)
