The Highway Patrol Group-9 in Isabela city seized a suspected stolen motorcycle during a joint operation with Provincial Police Office personnel earlier this week.

Insp Alson A. Aripin, HPG-9 Chief in Isabela, described the single motorcycle as a black Honda XRM with plate number OT4842.

The driver allegedly failed to present proof of ownership and a driver’s license when asked by troopers, prompting the lawmen to further investigate the unit.

A macro-etching at the Crime Laboratory on the chassis and engine showed that the motorcycle belongs to a resident of Novaliches in Quezon City.

The real color of the motorcycle unit is blue and the unit was last registered in May 2014.

Troopers said that the driver vowed to get documents from his residence but failed to come back to claim the motorcycle.  (Allen Abastillas)
