Suspect in fishermen massacre, six others apprehended PDF Print E-mail

The suspect in the massacre of fishermen in Zamboanga city and six other local terrorists were apprehended by authorities last Sunday just before the group was about to stage another robbery in barangay Muti.

The arrest was reported himself  by Western Mindanao Command Chief Lt Gen Carlito Galvez during a press conference at the Westmincom Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect was identified as Salip Alip, 18 years old and a local terrorist under Janul Nasalon aka Abu Harris.

The six other suspects were identified as Benhar Hasin, Bargen Hasim, Karim Majad, Hadari Odjor, Mohammad Hatuirdin and Jamric Isnani.

Alip was also involved in the strafing of a passenger bus in barangay Muti last November.

Alip and the six other local terrorists were arrested by the 111th marine Company along the road of barangay Muti at around 10:45pm last Sunday.

The seven were about to stage a robbery at a sari sari store when they were arrested. (LAJ)
