Authorities have confiscated a sachet of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia from the possession of a 14-year old boy in Ayala last Friday.

Police took custody of the boy, whose identity had been withheld.

Lawmen were able to confiscate the following items from the boy:  sachets of suspected shabu, a piece of folded tissue paper, rolled aluminum foil and two disposable lighters.

The boy was brought to the Ayala Police Station and later turned over to the Social Development Center in Santa Barbara for temporary custody while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examination.

The parents and relatives of the boy were also informed about the incident.  (Dan Toribio)
