The Women and Children’s Protection Center in MIndanao is preparing rape and trafficking charges against a member of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) based in Cebu City.

This after the suspect reportedly recruited three women, two of who are minors, to work as househelpers.

The victims, who are residents of Ayala, were also allegedly molested and threatened by the suspect when they started working for him at his residence in Cebu.

The three workers were able to escape and come back to Zamboanga where they narrated their experience to authorities.

The WCPCM is currently preparing charges against the suspect.

The three victims are temporarily housed at the Tanglaw Buhay Lahi for debriefing and counselling in coordination with the Visayan Forum.  (Allen Abastillas)
