The Zamboanga city government sent relief assistance to victims who were displaced by the Marawi siege.

The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMO) has spearheaded the turn over of the goods, which were loaded on to a Navy vessel bound for Marawi.

“Our prayers go to the families who are affected by the firefight in Marawi,” Salazar said.

Included in the donation are 300 sacks of rice, 50 cartons of noodles and 50 cartons of sardines.

The assistance was made based on a resolution passed by the City Peace and Order Council in a meeting last Wednesday. (RGAAGo)
