District 1 Congressman Celso Lobregat recently met with the Civil Aviation Authority Skycap Cooperative members to discuss possible livelihood programs to help alleviate the lives of the airport porters.

The solon said, Skycap members may need to have another source of income aside from ferrying baggage of passengers boarding and arriving at the local airport.

Thru the Department of Labor and Employment’s Integrated Livelihood Assistance Program for the Vulnerable and Skilled Sectors of the national government, Lobregat was able to source funds for his district to help at least ten organized sectors whose members need livelihood program support from the government.

The Office of Congressman Lobregat already identified these sectors in the 1st District and initial talks have been done to identify the necessary livelihood programs needed to alleviate the lives of each and every member of the organization. (Dexter Yap - PR)
