Prominent Basileño dies in Resorts World attack PDF Print E-mail

One of the victims in the Resorts World Manila attack last Thursday night  was a prominent personality from Isabela City in Basilan Province.

Clifford Reynera, better known as “Bobby Rey”, died of suffocation after fire broke out in the said establishment.

Bobby Rey was known to many, not only in Basilan but also in Zamboanga City, as a very jolly and friendly person.

He run for Vice Mayor of Isabela City in the 2016 Presidential election but failed to get enough number of votes to make him win.

He was the Chief of Staff of former member of the House of Representatives  Alvin Dans of the Lone District of Isabela City in Basilan Province.

Reynera also became Chief of the Presidential Anti-Smuggling Group (PASG)  in Basilan Province during the time of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. (Allen Abastillas)
