Zambo murder suspect arrested in Bacolod Print

After two years of hiding, a man suspected of shooting and killing his father-in-law was arrested in Bacolod city last week.

Police identified the suspect as Marvin Barilla Resurreccion, 45-years old, married.

Resurreccion was arrested by personnel of the Bacolod Police Station in coordination with the Culianan Police.

Resurreccion has a standing warrant of arrest for Murder issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 17 with no bail bond recommended.

The suspect was accused of shooting and killing his father-in-law, identified as Mauricio Barcelona Jr., in January 2014.

Resurreccion however escaped from authorities and hid in Bacolod city until his arrest last week.

The suspect was detained at the Culianan Police Station pending his turn over to the
