The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Zamboanga City Chapter has sent a team to Marawi city to assist in the needs of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP.)

The team from PRC Zamboanga is expected to stay in the area for at least 20 days.

The PRC team brought a PRC ambulance and a water tanker to serve a big number of evacuees from Marawi.

“Our team has the advantage because they already have the experience during the Zamboanga siege,” said Fernandez.

The PRC-Zamboanga team was reportedly deployed to Marawi based on the orders of the national office. (RGAAGo)
