A member of the Aviation Security Group has undergone inquest proceedings in connection to the murder of an electric cooperative worker last Thursday.

The report said that Central Police Station investigators have recommended Murder charges against PO1 Medzfar Abdurasan based on evidence gathered by police.

Abdurasan was reportedly found positive of gun powder during a paraffin text conducted on the suspect.

The result of the ballistic test on his issued firearm was not yet available as of press time.

Abdurasan also availed of his right and signed a 15-day waiver and thus, was detained anew at the Central Police Station.

It will be recalled that Abdurasan surrendered to authorities a few hours after the murder of Abdulkadir Ladja Misang, 29, a resident of Rio Hondo and an employee of the Zamboanga City Electric Cooperative.

Abdurasan denied accusations that he was responsible for the murder of Misang.  (Dan Toribio)
