“Eto yung panahon na kailangan natin puspusan ipaalam sa public na no one is spared when there are calamities.  Dapat alam natin anong gagawin before, during and after disaster,” said Emilia Vasquez- Julhajan, OCD-9 Assistant Regional Director.

Julhajan said that all hazards approach must include human-induced events as some areas in Mindanao have already experienced human-induced hazards.

She also added that the public is now more aware when it comes to disaster preparedness as information can now be easily disseminated.  (RGAAGo)
